Paying with the washMaster app

If the user wants to initiate a payment via the washMaster app, a connection is established in the washMaster system between the user’s washMaster app and the relevant Schulthess business customer. Personal data is passed on to the Schulthess Maschinen AG business customer when a payment is made. Personal data includes:

  • information on the wash, such as time and price

Collection and use of data for the improvement of the washMaster app

Schulthess Maschinen AG collects and uses data to support and improve the Smart Schulthess and washMaster system. Schulthess Maschinen AG never passes on this personal data to business customers and/or third parties without the express consent of the user in the washMaster app, but uses it exclusively for the provision and improvement of its own service.

  3. the device’s parameters (brand, type, screen, memory)
  4. information on the platform (e.g. iOS and Android version)
  5. version of the installed washMaster app

The user is aware that Google may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate the user’s IP address with any other data held by Google. The IP addresses are anonymised (shortened by three digits) so that an assignment to the user is not possible.

This data is analysed by Microsoft to generate crash reports and to provide other services related to the analysis of washMaster app error messages.

The user is aware that Microsoft may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Microsoft’s behalf.

The user expressly agrees that Schulthess Maschinen AG may involve third parties (e.g. payment service providers) in the provision of its services and that customer data may be passed on in this context where necessary. Schulthess Maschinen AG is obliged to carefully select, instruct and monitor service providers.

The third party may only use the data in accordance with this Privacy Policy on behalf of Schulthess Maschinen AG. Use of the data for the third party’s own purposes is prohibited.

Retention and erasure
